I`d argue that this thread is keeping to point. Posters are trying to come up with ideas to make the league more appealing and thus combat threats such as EPL Friday night football.

So, any noticable difference with Attendances last night? I see Cork was 3,016. Bohs 1,100, Pats 1,014, UCD 128, Longford 799. No others declared on Extratime.

Harps had around 700...I'd guess and say it took away around 100

Some of the Friday fixtures have been released. Only 2 so far. Man Utd v Southampton 19th August and Chelsea v Liverpool 16th Sept.

They kept their word so far with none of the Champions League clubs on Friday nights.
