So that even if you could persuade them that a SL would be even more profitable than the PL (possible, but by no means guaranteed), you would still have to persuade them to cede some of the absolute control they currently have over their own affairs. Alternatively, you would have to persuade the likes of Real, Barca, PSG and Bayern to allow the English clubs greater control than they (the Continentals) would like. Otherwise, no sooner would you have a European Super League than you'd have the English clubs voting for "Slexit"!

Yeah it seems to be.
Was a good weekend for getting an acca up in the premier league if you stuck to just that league.

A lot more pressure on West Ham tonight against Leicester. Probably a score draw.
Hope Leicester win seeing as they've finally banished Snakespeare from the club. Edited by irishmufc - 24 Nov 2017 at 7:49pm |

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

MOTD showing passing moves from Burnley today with Brady Ward and Hendrick involved in triangles with Arsenal chasing shadows.
We haven’t the players to do anything other than hoof against Georgia though |

It's two games a week. It's not that unusual.

Ye what? A game on December 30th followed by a game on Jan 1st, it's just mental when you consider there are 3 games planned for the rest of Jan after the game on the 1st.

It's a bank holiday. It's definitely a bit much, but aside from that turnaround, it's nothing their not used to. Obviously the rest of the season, things get broken up a bit with international breaks and things like the league cup and the breaks for the fa cup replays, but plenty of clubs play twice a week on a regular basis.

Really hoping that Salah's non-celebration wasnt about Chelsea being his old club, he only played about 10 games for them. If its about the terror attack then fair enough.

Brighton vs Palace might be tasty enough tonight. Bit of a strange rivalry they have going back to some game in the 70s.
I can't imagine the mild mannered duo of Hughton and Hodgson adding fuel to the fire. |
