I used to prefer the old way of determining this which was 100m sprint live on Saint & Greavsie.
Think Keith Curle won it one year.

LOL
Actually remember that

His Dad was lightning fast too, saw him play for Wattenscheid 09 in the Bundesliga a good few times in the early '90's.

The title was a midsummer night's dream, but this relegation struggle could be a winter's tale.

Do some teams have a league fixture on 31st December and another one on the 1st January this season? I saw tweets from City fans the other day about this with them supposedly playing Watford and then Palace a day later. Could this be right?

Seems crazy, but their own website has them playing Palace away at midday on Sun.31st Dec, then Watford at home at 3 pm on Mon.1st Jan:
http://https://www.mancity.com/fixtures/first-team
(BBC website too)

Coming on the back of an EFL game at Leicester on Tue.19th Dec, Bournemouth at home on Sat.23rd Dec and Newcastle away on Wed.27th Dec, it's no wonder Pep wants the League sewn up by the end of November!

Though to be serious, it can surely only be that one or more of these New Year games needs to be moved for TV, but SKY and BT need to sort out the Christmas fixtures first?

Interesting

Mourinho signing mostly players over 6 foot seemed to excite some fans in the summer
