Any reason McGoldrick is on bench? Seemed to be in good form.

No sign of Scott Hogan in the squad. Sheff Utd aren't short of strikers, they have Billy Sharp, Gary Madine and Conor Washington too

The keeper needs to look out. Chris Wilder kept referring to him as the goalkeeper in the post match interview. "The goalkeeper made two mistakes." Not a happy camper.

As an aside, I really like Wilder and have a bit of a soft spot for the Blades too(Paul Heaton/Wednesday seem to have Rangers connections) and came across this the other day from just after their promotion to the Championship. There is something special about a fan delivering promotion as manager, before singing what I later found out was an old chant popular on the 'Kop' at Bramall Lane.

Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.

That ball the lad sliced in the build up to the villa equaliser. Keepers ball all day long. Nobody near the defender. Keeper needed to be screaming for it.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

He does seem really likable. Tough enough run of matches coming up for them. They could have done with hanging on for the 3 points.

Could have been a bumper weekend for villa fans, Birmingham were 4 up at QPR, QPR pull it back to 4-3 and get a 90th minute pen. Fookers missed it. 😂

Hourihane was getting a hounding yesterday, yes he has had a bad few games but it was ridiculous, he was clearly upset as well. Villa have the most toxic fan base in the league. People are expecting Smith to draw the Mona Lisa with a set of crayons, after four months.
