Bad timing in my opinion. The Scotland match is 1 week before the match in Skopje, so thats the only time-frame for playing the match.

2 friendlies is enough in 10 days before a crucial qualifier

Headlines can be misleading
The actual text is never as definite

It's a possibility more than a probability HM, I guess it is up to the agents to nail it down as they'll be promoting it.

But in June? Sure we have enough games around then. Macedonia away could be make or break. We dont need such a distraction, especially not from that shower.

Ah Trap will probably send out a second string team full of players like Seamus Coleman so he can keep the big guns rested for Macedonia. Alternatively we could field an Airtricty XI and see how that plays out.

10 games in one year is an absolute joke.

Any usual time id be well up for a game against england but to bunch it in with 2 rubbish nations cup game and a trip to macedonia where on earth are we to get the money and the time off work to go to this game.

I see the opportunity the FAI are keen to grasp but they have to look at the bigger picture. It may be england but theres a serious recession on and they cant keep pulling at the purses of the fans at every opportunity.

Extra games like this are losing our supporters club hundreds of pounds due to people rightly not having the extra cash to go, and it wont be long before clubs like ours will have to fold with the immense amounts of games the FAI are throwing at us. Throw in that the club is from the north, to go to every game this year has nearly taken up half our holidays at work especially with the introduction of friday games.

Cancel the uraguay game if the england game is worth so much more!!

Someone has to put this to the FAI.

Don't go to the two 'rubbish' nations cup game then and go to the England game instead!

No matter what the FAI do, there is always going to be someone giving out about something.

I'd never call any Ireland game 'rubbish'. It's a chance to go out and support your country, the more games the better in my book. I know there's a recession on but if you plan ahead and budget for it, I don't see the problem.

You say you're in the north, it's two hours away from Dublin, it's hardly the end of the world.
