Euro 2020 qualifier - on Friday 11th Oct.  And I'd say there'll be nothing friendly about the atmosphere in the city that weekend.  God help any couples booking a weekend of sightseeing there that weekend, unaware of the match. LOL

Nations League final is this Sunday night.
The nation holds it's breath...YES, WE'RE THERE!!!

Na even the FA have made a statement referring to a video where a bunch of English lads were lobbing bottles of Portuguese lads just watching their game.

The biggest dilemma in the English media right now is - Arsenal v Chelsea in Baku, no fighting. Liverpool v Spurs in Madrid, no fighting. A week later England are playing and there's hell on.
Those are big clubs with a large foreign/tourist following. The national team would be all the working class fellas.

They're already planning their parade route!  Raheem sterling has been made captain and has promised to come out all guns blazing.

NI have a mandated friendly away to Czech Rep. on Monday 14th Oct, though venue not yet confirmed, so might not be in Prague.

Gary Neville making a tit of himself on sky giving out to Dave Jones because he asked him about the England fans who caused trouble and Neville says he says that the news people should report that good behaviour of the England fans in the stadium just as much.  DJ then says ''but you can understand why the negative stories make more headlines only for Neville to dig his heels in further and praise the England fans.

Well done Gary.  We should congratulate the England fans for not starting a riot in the stadium.  You might as well praise a man for not robbing a bank or assaulting people during the normal day.  Do you ever see headlines on the news ''Man Doesn't Rob Bank'' followed by praise of how he saw a bank and KNEW there was millions of Euro inside taunting him to come get it yet somehow resisted that urge and walked past the bank.  Nobel prize on the way to that man.

Why would you praise just standard decent behaviour that is expected on normal society?  Confused

Sure his comparison is like some scummer who assaulted some lad on a Friday night and ends up in the cells.  then goes out on a Saturday night and doesn't assault anyone.  So he should now be praised is it?

Yaxley Lennon in Portugal yesterday.

The English FA and police need to watch this sort of stuff very carefully

The England team could easily become a lightning rod for the thugs of the Brexit-loving far right if they don't take action

England are likely to play their last 16 tie in the Euros in Dublin next year

It could be against Germany - England will be in Group D and Germany in Group F - the last 16 sees D1 play F2

All sorts of potential for trouble there

If Yaxley-Lennon is still in Portugal he should be thrown in a cell quicksmart

Let him do a nice stretch

Could? LOL

I'm sure their antics will be warmly received in Dublin if they play here in their second round game

Of course they will - if the Garda response in '95 was anything to go by. LOL

English football twitter the past couple of days has been very funny, lots of photos/videos of English fans not kicking people's heads in with the caption "BET THE MEDIA DOESN'T REPORT THAT". Im sure the news would be an awful lot longer everyday if everything that didn't happen was reported
