Got a call from someone I trust.

He claimed a junior  FAI official was in Hackett's of Lr Baggot Street photocopying  some papers today when the machine jammed.

Assistance was needed and during the conversation it transpired the guy was making 15 copies of a managerial contract for Terry Venables.

Believe it, or believe it not

For FOOKS SAKE. I've heard it all now for defo. Our National Football Association photocopying the next manager's contract in a bookie's.

I heard Venables was Bosnich's dealer...used-car dealer i mean, sorted him out with a few Mitsubishis too

The sequence now is, should he miss this, and Ireland's next penalty is scored, then the match and the progress are Ireland's....Timofte against Bonner..

at least the FAI are keeping a little more quiet on the next appointment this time, no promises they certainly can't keep, ie world class managers, or should that be walsall class managers LOL

now we know the qualifying group is a plausible one to escape from that should help attract a big name - it's a challange the likes of Gus Hiddink thrive under. It's someone like that they need to aim for.
