i would like to see these names in the squad..
Egan Hourihane Byrne O'Connell(might be a little to early) O'Dowda(should be defo in) Stokes(while he is in good form) Hogan Mason(starting to score for Wolves) what do we think, anyone else newish. anyone else?

It seems a remarkable coincidence that we're playing oman for the 3rd time in 4 years.
Has anyone looked into how much they mqy be paying the FAI for the privilege of playing a "top" european nation? And is anyone checking no other perks or benefits (financial or non-financial gifts) are accruing? Obviously i'm not saying there is, but the question is worth asking when playing such an unusual fixture regularly in a short time period. external vigilence when you have an unusual concentration of games against the same opposition in friendlies in a short period of time would, i think, be considered safe practice.

It's like when we played numerous away friendlies against Poland in the 80's although the benefits and perks for the blazers were non monetary if you get my drift (Allegedly)
