Don't let your mouth write checks that Eiran can't Cashin.

Typical of The EIRE. We only seem to produce players that stop other people from playing.

Only 20 though. Duffy and Egan are 30, if they retire / wind down in next 3 or 4 years time Cashin will still only be 23/24 with hopefully a heap of games under his belt and ready to step in.

Well their hand was kind of forced given their transfer embargo and the loss of Jagielka to Stoke in January.

woiuld be great if Derby could somehow survive and the likes of Cashin could continue to play Champipnship football next year. I dont think Ebosele or Knight will be at Derby one way or another next season

Good for him. He'll probably be a starting player all next season.

No harm for Cashin to stay will play every week no doubt. Should be a lock in for the 21s going forward too.

While it's obviously not an exact science Cashin is - by a distance - the highest rated player in League 1 this season based on Who Scored ratings. We don't hear too much about him because it's League 1 and we have lots of other centre back options, but as a left footer he might be one to consider for a look at senior level if he can get himself back into the Championship next season - Derby fans rave about him week in week out. McGuinness and Azaz are also in the top 20 in the division incidentally.

Cashin now or wait and see how it goes?
If Cashin Carry this form into the Spring he may get selected.

Derby will Cashin on one of their biggest assets.
Nobody can question his international allegiance when he's regularly heard shouting Eiran go bragh! Edited by Mr. Snrub - 03 Jan 2023 at 2:35pm |

He’s been very good apparently! Suspect he will be subject of transfer interest next year from decent Championship teams if they don’t go up themselves!
McGuinness on loan at Sheffield Wednesday another lad almost certainly spending his last year playing League 1 football!

Thought he looked poor enough for the U-21's anytime I've seen him play but always good to have another option. McGuinness seems to be doing okay as well. Would be amazed if Michael O'Neill doesn't have a chat with him. NI could do with him much more than us.
