Apparently Taylor isnt the sort of player to go out and "do someone"
He's been to visit Eduardo in the hospital and talked to the lad for half an hour. Taylor is said to be very shook up about the whole thing.
Eduardo even released a statement saying it was an accident and just one of those things. He seems extremely upbeat for a fella in his situation. I hope he gets back soon enough.

McLeish is on sky sports news now talking about it. Taylor is getting death threats, McLeish is talking it down though. I think it was just a really bad timed tackle, so early in the game, he was probably just letting Eduardo know he was going to be marking him for the game, and it went horribly wrong.
Far play to Eduardo though for saying it was an accident and these things just happen. Wenger should have known better than to let his emotions get carried away immediately after the game, especially when he misses all the tackles that Arsenal players have got sent off for over the last decade.

Bollocks. Yes it was high and It was a mis-timed tackle but it was hardly intentional and Eduardo was just too quick for Taylor. 3 match ban or possibly 5 should suffice.

I'm very cynical Roger about so called death threats, Neil Lennon's was definitely real due to the situation up there at the time, but all this crap about Heather Mills getting them and Martin Taylor and other people, it's just nonsense Roger, total and utter nonsense. It ain't gonna happen and never would have.

Isn't the whole definition of threat an expression of intent? So in all probability, no-one will actually hurt him (hopefully), but any crazy idiot can send him a death threat. Guess in this day and age, they just have to take it seriously.
Plus, could you imagine the trouble the club, and the cops, would be in if something did happen to the lad and nobody did anything after they got the death threats

but i dont think neil lennons was from someone connected to paramilitarys FW, it was just some ignorant gimp and it was taken seriously because of the time that it occured. all these death threats are from nutters , remember the swiss referee that got all that sh1te from england fans and the swede who retired becasue of the chelsea fans . these people are utter idiots and scum and i firmly believe they do send death threats to people.

Yeah I agree that they probably do send them, but you can't really take them seriously, that's what I'm trying to say, so I take all these death threat headlines with a pinch of salt. If you're hell bent on killing someone, you don't really tip anyone off that you're gonna do it do you, unless you WANT to be caught and jailed or executed. Gimps is right.

That's just ridiculous alright, Aliadiere shouldn't even been fckn sent off, 4 games for that?? FFS........
They don't seem to want to outlaw dangerous/reckless tackles at all. And my long held theory still holds, ie foreigners get far more grief and punishment than English players. Look at Bryan Robson, John Terry, Shearer, Gerrard, down the years and when trouble has been swept under the carpet with them, but look at the grief and witch hunts surrounding Keane, Vieira, Cantona (apart from his fan assault), Di Canio (apart from his ref shove) and now Aliadiere.........4 games for that, fck off FA.
