Stary Browar is the huge shopping mall in the city centre. (red brick building). They have two food halls and other resaturants include Sushi and up market places. http://starybrowar5050.com/ In the first food hall (above the big face statue) there is generally very good and inexpensive food. Very good choice. In the second food hall, it's fast food. In the courtyard connecting the two parts of the mall are some expensive but very good restuarants like the Piano bar. My top 4 favorite places to eat in Poznan would be the following. Neat dress would be expected. Spot http://www.spot.poznan.pl/pl/spot/miejsce Villa Magnolia http://www.villamagnolia.pl/ Zagroda Bamberska http://www.zagrodabamberska.pl/ Mykonos - http://www.tawerna-mykonos.com.pl/ Also good places to eat in the centre of town and not expensive The Mexican - beautiful shot girls serving Tequila http://www.mexican.pl/ Lizard King http://www.lizardking.pl/ Sami Swoi - good Polish food. http://www.samiswoi-klub.pl/?id_language=2 Sphinx - cheaper and slighty lower quality but good steaks at good value. There are a few of them scattered around Poznan, main square for example. At the other end of the scale, there are cheaper places like Very cheap food but decent enough, similar to the Milk bars and plenty of them. Avanti Piccolo Not sure about Buddha bar is good for beer and girls I suppose but the food was always sh*t when I went there. This would be the one bar where I would expect to find gold diggers. But it's worth going there to have a look at the giant gold Buddha. |
