On the match itself, I feel Cork can't play for a draw from the start. But thats not to say that they can't stop Dudnalk from trying to get an early momentum. With this in mind Cork should go out like its any other game and start off going for the win. Depending how the game is panning out they can then decide whether to hold what they have or push on. All I will say is that could be a very dangerous plan on a pitch like Oriel's. It would however be very ironic if the pitch was to lead to a Dudnalk mistake that cost them the title

I expect Dundalk will go for it from the start and Cork to play on the counter attack. Think Dundalk will take the lead and then it is game on

While Kenny may have more managerial experience, we only have won league winner in our squad, Cork have about 5/6 league winners in theirs? and a former international, no shortage of experience there.
True and I would expect alot of those players to have a big influence on the game. Colin Healy and Geroid Morrissey hold the key I think, If they can dictate the play and control the game as they have in most games this season I think City will do it. Also it wouldn't hurt if McNulty had another brilliant game in goal.

I think shamrock are the only team to stop us scoring at home this season, so gotta think we will score in the game, obviously that would mean yous would need to score.

Early goal for us is probably best for the neutral

We have had the much better head to head record of the last two seasons, also unbeaten at home in the league all season. As long as we don't give away an early goal then it's very much
game on.

We had similar poor records against st pats and bohs this season which were recently overturned. Heres hoping we continue in that regard. I do think Dundalk are still favourites for the title and City will need to be at their best to win this league. As Clonbhoy says i hope we dont sit back and invite Dundalk on as we would be highly unlikely to keep them out for 90+ mins. Need to score!

That was funny alright

They would lose the bottle.

Be interesting to see how we go about this. Caulfield talking about going for a win but we have a habitof sitting back when leading and to all purposes we are leading

you have to try and win it, obviously can hold back a little but going out for a draw is dangerous, especially if we were to take the lead
