Its not pedantic to get the allegations correct.
It is not actually suggested the money was passed on, just that they talked about it. Which means the story is an amusing side note, yet people on here are calling for heads in the FAI.

Nobody's seriously calling for heads in the FAI here. Even the most ardent anti Delaney posters know this story is bullsh*t and only a distraction from the serious issues he should address. |

Why has it been little old Ireland and no other small European football Association with these allegations thrown at them?
No smoke without fire and all that. Nobody can argue that JD has any integrity so who knows. Whilst these accusations look wide of the mark - what else is there?
