I wasn't sure if I'd have to break the news to Vidic that it was closed.

The Beaumont house owner is an absoloute German Banker, wouldnt let the post man use the toilets as he's not a paying customer. Should be avoided at all costs.

But there is no doubt that it was full of shady characters with all sorts of carry on going on.

Spent my early early 20s in the blacker. Never had much hassle myself as knew a lot of the lads who drank in it but there was plenty of dodgy heads who drank in it who are let's say, are now deceased as a result of there various activities.

Been in Grainegrs a few times. Nice enough spot. Never heard anything bad about it but won't be going again if they are the owners. Wouldn't give the Kant a penny.

Stopped for a few in it last year after a match in Parnell Park. GAA themed (obviously given the name) but had a decent looking large beer garden.

Ffrenches (used to change its name every couple of years) in Mulhuddart was dodgy as f**k, only had a couple of pints in there once and got out of it fairly lively. Lads just dying to slap the head off ya if you made any eye contact.
