Out to Copenhagen morning of game and flight home from Billund morning after game via Stansted for €51.

Where are people staying in Aarhus? I'm on my lonesome for this one!
Cabinn is where I'm staying, have heard of a few in it, little bar beside it with 20 DKK pints of tuborg so that'll do me.

Is that definite, seems dirt cheap for Denmark?

Yeah confirmed, the welsh said it was that price too, the old irish pub its called

Cheers.
Before long, everybody will know your name..

I'd try the FAI. No tickets sent out yet, so they should be able to sort you.

Ok, so it looks like that direct Aer Lingus flight (flight no. EI625) from Copenhagen to Dublin on 20th November (12.30pm departure) has indeed been cancelled.

And I only found out by accident when I tried to add the flight to the app on my phone (I was already adding another flight with them for a different trip) but kept getting an error message saying the booking had been cancelled. That was despite them telling me a few weeks ago that the flight was going ahead after I had e-mailed them about it (after being alerted on here by Jasonic).

So, I e-mailed them again Friday before last but got no reply apart from the acknowledgement e-mail.  After waiting over a week I e-mailed them again on Monday morning and they have (finally!) come back to me saying they're arranging a full refund without explicitly stating the flight's been cancelled.  Christ, it's like trying to get an answer out of a politician! Confused

Even though I'm getting my money back, I'm thinking of putting in a complaint to them for them not telling me in the first place and the fact that I found out about the possibility of it being cancelled, almost by accident, through a third party (ybig) and an error message on their app.  I'd love to know when they were planning on telling me (if at all!).  I could easily have been blissfully unaware until too late.  I wonder how many other people are booked on that flight and don't realise what's happened?

In the meantime, if you folks know anyone who's booked on that flight and may not follow this forum, you may alert them now and get them to find other ways home and to get onto AL for a refund. Thumbs Up
The nation holds it's breath...YES, WE'RE THERE!!!

Even though I like flying aer lingus myself, there customer services excluding inflight and airport ground staff is absolutely horrific. Friend of mine is fighting for months over lost luggage on an aerlingus regional flight and keeps getting thrown between aerlingus and stobart air who operate the flight on behalf of aerlingus, 3 months later and she is none the wiser.
time is the stuff that life is made of, don't waste it.
