I wouldn’t write him off yet. He’s versatile, good with the ball at his feet, very smart in terms of attacking positioning and capable of squeezing out a final ball. He’s also fit and quick, two qualities that never go out of fashion.

Is major failing is that he’s inconsistent and not positionally great without the ball (possibly because he’s always played for teams where he is considered the outstanding attacking threat, and given a lot of freedom). I’d still have him in and around the squad. I don’t think he’s ever disgraced himself and has often been among our better players.

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

His passing is quite poor, as his decision making. I can't see those improving enough.

You must have missed the recent discussion on the Shane Long thread. No getting excited about crosses, please!

Hibs best player in the first half, having a fine game. Hibs strikers have gone missing unfortunately.
We're decent enough..

That great news for Daryl, were the goals any good?

That's Hibs in the last 16 of the Scottish Cup.

Hibs are signing a lot of attacking midfielders, he'd want to keep it up or he'll be out of the picture there too. I don't get the sense Lennon rates him that highly.
