hope he redeems himself and sorts his life out.
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

MOTM today, Wigan fans say he controlled the game. Really think he could do a job for us if he gets his fitness up to a high level. Great player who has been unlucky with injury and life choices.

I wish the lad all the best but it's his responsibility regarding life choices.

Great to see him back playing football though.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Back from injury and has come on for Wigan in the last 2 games. Looked steady tonight and was apparently impressive in the previous match as well.
We're decent enough..

He obviously has mental health issue. If he rehabilitates, I think he deserves another chance.

I’d like to see him come good, for himself firstly, and hopefully good football will follow.

Why does he have mental health issues?

He's fond of the gargle like every other Irish person.

When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Gibson does seem to like a drink more than most. Three drink driving charges in three years, with two of those involving gross negligence that could have resulted in death. Not really normal.

Very easy to jump to the 'mental health' conclusion. It doesn't excuse what he did. He's simply a prick!
