Gary Breen played in 2002 without a club - Came close to joining Inter.

Wonder what the future holds for O'Dea. Championship is probably his level.

he hasnt been great all year im afraid. i would love to see the irish lads doing well but ipswich didnt want to keep him either. he will end up at someone like palace or burnley imo. or possibly one of the promoted league 1 clubs. may even end up at one of the league one clubs that go close this year. grayson signed him for leeds. he could go again

O'Dea was only on loan at Leeds. Reckon Warnock will want his own players in for the new season. Think it was O'Dea's second sending off the other night so he is probably suspended for Leeds last couple of games. Lennon doesn't seem to rate him, but I reckon he will get a Championship club.

A serious make or break time for O'Dea.

Moscow apart, he has had a very average season. Club wise, Leeds took some serious hidings.

O'Dea seems to lose concentration at crucial times and appear casual in possession. He is better suited to "backs against the wall" games where his only job is to defend.

I think needs a new challange away from Glasgow (personal issues well documented), he needs to sort himself out or he'll end up on the lower league merry-go-round like Maybury and McShane.

He's always done well in an Ireland jersey.

I think his club form is very inconsistent, and as a manager you really want your center halves to be consistent.

Not the biggest fan of O'Dea myself. Alex Pearce should have been looked at IMO

Shame I would have thought Warnock could have done him the world of good and I do think the talent is there

In fairness no one in the Leeds defence can claim to have had a good season and I hope he finds a club soon

All the best Darren

Has always done well for us when called upon, hopefully he gets himself a decent club in the summer, championship club being the most likely.

If you are referring to Grannyrule's post, he said Alex Pearce, not Alex Bruce, who incidentally declared for the pub team some months ago, having never been capped competitively for us.

Alex Pearce is probably a name you should familiarise yerself with, as he will be one of very few Irish qualified centre backs playing in the EPL next year. When you are on one of your whinges next October when he doesn't get called up to play against the Faroe Islands, maybe somebody will drag up this post and remind you how little you actually knew about the fella.
