The Chinese 2nd Division is very competitive this season: Just 6 points between 1st and 5th.

I can just imagine the future arguments: "He was useless, did nothing all game." "He set up the cross for the goal!"

The secondary assist is an american thing that they started using to Americanise the sport of soccer and honestly I think there's more merit in somebody getting a secondary assist if people are also awarded assists for winning free kicks or penalties which I don't think they do for soccer in America

Sure didn’t McGeady’s assist assist against Italy not get us out of the group at Euro 2016?

When I saw the term 'assist assist', he was actually the very first player that sprang to mind. As in, ''he has 75 assist assists for Sunderland in League 1 this season, he should be back in the squad''. Expect to see a real post like that around October. |

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995" |

Impressive. Here's an interview he conducted recently. It appears he has added some maturity to his persona. Also, at 8:05 of this interview he is asked about his ambitions with the ROI and he says he had hoped for a call up last season. Would that not suggest he has had his paperwork complete for awhile?? https://youtu.be/M-qOWJXzdMw Edited by korourke - 20 Jul 2019 at 3:09pm |
