Damien Duff looks like he's played his last game in Oz as he's injured and will probably be that way for the remainder of his one year deal. As long as he recovers, looks likely he will play League of Ireland. Where do you think he`ll end up?

Bray or Cabinteely.

His name wont appear on Cabo's teamsheet though.
Just number 11.

Surely he's too tall to get in that team.

He won't be coming back from a years injury. It says the remainder of his one year deal, meaning the remaining 2/3 months. Any club would be nuts to turn down the opportunity to take him for a year.

I think any top side in the league would jump at the chance to have him in their team. He has so much experience and has played at the very top level. He's also a household name so he would bring in the floating fan. Unlike Fahey, Mcphail, Miller or Healy he was an integral part of the Irish set up for a very long time. Even if he only played a handful of games a club would get the benefit at the turnstile and from shirt sales.
He is also the type of person we should be attracting to come back to the league in a coaching capacity.

Spot on, his real benefit to most clubs at this stage of his career is as much his name & reputation that puts a few more bums on seats and attracts commercial interest, as any difference he can make on-field. Whether that makes commercial sense for any LOI Club when you factor in wages is unclear.
I'm aware his long stated interest playing LOI and realistically Rovers & Cork would be the only Clubs who could finance it, but I'd be surprised he wouldn't stay in Oz another year first or maybe a short stint in MLS, perhaps with one of the new franchises.

Can't seem to be able to shed the injuries in the past couple of years, I'd be surprised if he threw in his lot with a LOI team at his age and given his injury woes.
