Strange one alright! Fulham play passing football so he will hardly fit in.

4 million is a good deal for Boro, too good to turn down.

It's a good deal for Christie too, 2 places higher in the table and a team that suits his attacking style.

Great deal, Fulham are the form team in the championship atm, blowing people away and really attacking should suit him. Tony Pulis is a joke, stuck in 2002, if he was Ireland manager he would still be playing John O'Shea at right back

And he gets to live in London rather than Middlesbrough

Goal! Bristol City 0, Fulham 1. Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham) right footed shot from very close range to the centre of the goal. Assisted by Cyrus Christie with a through ball.

Do you reckon that's what he meant to do against Gibraltar?

I saw more people on Twitter retweeting racist abuse at him.

Some of the abuse he's been getting is disgusting. Twitter and Social Media is a sh*thole at the best of times when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Fredericks left Fullham, looks like Christie is starting RB unless they sign someone else

apparently when fredericks turned down a new deal in jan that's why they signed Christie. would love to see him get an extended run of games in the premier league so selfishly I hope they do not bring in a top right back that relegates him to the bench

So all of a sudden we could potentially have three right backs playing regularly in the Prem? It's the late 90s/early 2000s all over again!

Think Cyrus gets a lot of unmerited criticism he came in the side at a very difficult period replacing our Captain and arguable best player OK he wasn't great but he done well enough

Christie still has time to develop and playing PL football will only help, but hes woeful at defending for the most part. Absolutely no positional awareness. Hes grand going forward tho and defiantly more suited to playing wingback than a traditional rightback. I think most fans were annoyed at his end product for us more than anything in recent months as whenever he done the hardwork, getting into a good position, he'd waste great opportunities miss hitting cross after cross. Again something that will only improve the more game time you see and hed seen very little over the last year while call upon. I like Christie, but he needs to start playing regularly and working on the errors in his game.
