Wasn't really sure what thread this should go in. I see Uncle Ben's rice will be called Classic Ben's from now. This appears to be down to a rebrand similar to some other potentially controversial brand names.

Do people think companies etc. doing these things will benefit greater equality in the long run or is it more an easy PR stunt for companies? Fairplay Mar's you've changed the branding of your product but you're probably still paying a lot of your workers, who potentially could come from lower socioeconomic and minority backgrounds f**k all.

Strolled down to Spar earlier with the 2 kids (ages 6 and 2) to get them a packet of sweets. Got there and realised I didn't have mask with me so sent the 6 year old in with my card to get one thing for him and his sister. She ran in after him and started grabbing stuff like she was on Supermarket Sweep while I shouted at her from the door to put things back and hold her brother's hand. The stress of it all was getting to me and then a couple in their 20's just walked right past me and in to the shop with not a mask between them.
