They did try and give it to more deserving. It’s 16 vaccines they got it a bit before their Time but would have got it anyway. No big deal and as some one said better than going in the bin. Is the term PC used for everything now ?  I’m basically referring to the crowd that get outraged at everything and have loads to say about everything and can’t be pleased. I saw a a picture of 2 polls  taken in the last 6 weeks ( could be made up) The first one was should the government open up the county for Christmas and it was  roughly 70% yes 30% no And after Christmas the question was the government right to open the county for Christmas and this time roughly 30% yes And 70% no It just shows some people’s mind sets

My sister was called and told there might be a vaccine for her last week as some of the other staff had cancelled their jabs, as it happens there wasn't and she is still waiting for it. Staff not been available to get their vaccine at their allotted time is very common. So I can understand how there will be spares left over at other hospitals. I'm sure there is some skullduggery going on but overall i'd be inclined to think it's a tiny minority and it's been administered fairly. Better used then in the bin

Exactly..well said. Irish people love nothing more than too whing and moan. As long as vaccine not disposed of should be the main concern

About 140,000 people are expected to be vaccinated by next Sunday.

This will be made up of about 70,000 healthcare workers and approximately 70,000 residents and staff of long-care facilities.

It is expected about 1.8m people will receive an injection in the second quarter of this year and a further 1.8 million in the third quarter.

However, these projections are based on vaccines which have not yet been approved

Id say it won't be pints until Q3 or Q4 of this year
