The common travel area means the UK don't require it.
And I've been into Gatwick & Heathrow recently and there are no checks on flights coming from Dublin

It's just default. You don't need to upload anything coming that way. Coming into Ireland you do need to upload the passenger locator form (not sure what the rules are if you are traveling North when you get to Dublin) but nobody checks either.

They mentioned on the radio that is was part of a plan to increase US tourists over to Ireland for that weekend. I always though American's went home for Thanksgiving so could be a crap plan base on what Plans, Trains and Automobiles thought me.

Looks like the lifting of the restrictions due for the 22nd October will not be happening. Load of Bollocks at this stage esp with the public buying into the vaccine rollout. Could be mid 2022 by the time the remaining restrictions will be lifted

Would be a bit frustrating.  Vaccine was supposed to be our way out of this and we are at 95% or something.

I'd day they will keep the vaccine certs for indoor dining and clubs which then might push another few thousand to get the vaccine but doubt it would make that big of difference to the hospital numbers
