Here Brianie, what are you on about? Seriously?

Would English people on an English football forum be posting that an Irish Prime Minister is in hospital/ICU, Make your own mind up, yet you have gobsh*tes on here worrying and posting about BoJo, its unbelievable

So we should try and emulate the ignorance of English football forums? I find it a lot more odd that someone is concerning themselves with what English football fans post than that people here are commenting on the UK Prime Minister being admitted to ICU due to coronavirus....on the coronavirus thread.

When they release daily figures it is always the figures as of 2 days previous?

So for example today's figures would refer to cases on Sunday.

YouTube banning all videos linking coronavirus to 5G networks. That’s a good move.

But not when done by a private organisation. That is their choice not to supply a platform which they feel isn’t being used for the public good, or is nefarious. There is a major distinction between censorship by Government, and a private organisation not allowing anybody use their service.

Because they are a business and it could reflect badly on them. They will make a decision in line with that.

Several reasons. First, they still have their freedom of speech, they just don’t have youtube’s platform. They won’t be restricted from having the own websites, giving talks, or access to their online community. But they won’t have the ease of access the the public that they had via YouTube. That’s not a loss of free expression or censorship. It’s a private organisation determining their corporate responsibility at a time of an international andemic.

Second, I see it as an extension of the anti-vaccination movement, which preys on the fears and concerns of well meaning people, but often for financial and private gain, without any regard for the wider health of the public. Covid 19 will hopefully have a vaccine in the near future, and the next step of ideas like this will be to convince people that the vaccine is dangerous.
