@oshea. Keyode really doesn't look like he's going to have an international career with ireland. Happy to be proved wrong but

He's played 20 times in league1 for rotherham this season. Starting 11 on 6 occasions but hasn't once completed 90mins. He has one goal..

Hes played for ireland u21s on 11 ocassions and really hasn't looked anything but a strong lad up front.

Yes he plays as a different type of attacking player than Springett but that doesn't mean that can't be in competition for a place in the team.

Not just a different type but a different position too. From what I've seen Springett isn't going to be the type of player to lead the line

Springett plays a more wide position and Kayode leads the line.... so what?

Kayode leads the line.. but badly. Hes ineffective in pretty much every game I've seen him play.

What I'm proposing is swap a forward player who's proven ineffective with one that has the potential to be effective...

You plan on playing without a striker? There's no point dropping a striker for another winger. Our senior squad would be 22 CBs and Josh Cullen if we were using that logic.

Kayode has been effective for us this campaign 3/3 wins with him starting. 1/4 without him. Striker mightn't be the strongest position in our team but Kayode has done the best out of all of them this campaign (although I think Odubeko could prove better if he gets more games)

Kayode may well not play for the senior team, but he is a centre forward and Springett is a wide midfielder. They simply aren't competing for the same spot. I'd disagree with saying Kayode has been completely ineffective too, as mentioned the 21's have a better record when plays, and in the most recent game against Sweden he got the knock on for Wright's goal.

Speaking of Wright, it's probably actually him that Springett is in direct competition with.

Kayode has been poor for the u21s and is struggling badly for Rotherham despite given chances. I can't see him playing much in the championship

I'd agree Wright has been poor too, as has Ferry. My point is choose players that that have the potential to improve the team.

The u21s are set up to play pretty much a different team every game, that's by design. Develop your most promising players

None of the strikers look anything special in Crawfords system. Whoever it is up top has generally just been isolated and struggled to get in the games - Kayode, Whelan, Ferguson, Obafemi, Odubeko, Afolabi, it's all been the same under Crawford.

Our top scorers in the campaign are Coventry (2) & Wright (2). Our DEFENSIVE midfielder is our joint top scorer. Let that sink in.

Jaysus I thought Noss scored a last minute winner or something, 15 new posts and only 1 about him LOL

Was he injured today anyway? Strange that he wasn't even on the bench.
