Being heavily linked with Glasgow Rangers. Warburton is apparently a big fan.

Depends whether Barnsley go up this year/a Championship team comes in for him. If neither of those things occur and he's facing another year in L1 then Rangers would be a very good move career wise.

His mate from his SAFC days Martyn Waghorn is also at Ibrox could be a factor?

He is from Bandon......
Greed has won, big finance has won. Whatever small role elite clubs still play in the local communities from which they grew is dwarfed now by their position as global brands.

Jon Daly was from Dublin, what's your point?
They're a future SPL side who will be top 2 with European football on the horizon, unless he gets to the championship it would be a super career move.

Best of luck to the lad today. Either way, I'd expect to see him playing in the championship next season. Hopefully it's with Barnsley, as he seems very settled there.

Be nice to see himself and White in the Championship again, maybe Kevin Long will get a permanent move there too after a good loan spell a couple of months ago.
