Good win against Larne. Holding on for much of second half, but glad to see clean sheet. Conditions bad due to the wind, spoilt the game a bit, but not as much as referee, absolutely abysmal. Standard of officiating in Irish League is atrocious.

Second away win of season with 1-0 against Carrick today. Comfortable when Carrick went down to 10 men after break. Breen, Coffey and O'Neill pick of the bunch, defence very solid. That's three wins in row after home victories against Larne and Ballymena, Reds now putting nice wee run together.

Fantastic win yesterday at Solitude against full timers Larne. Superb start to the season, 2 clear at the top. Atmosphere was brilliant yesterday
On another note, our former goalkeeper got sent off for the Glens for attacking his own player after they conceded to coleraine

Cliftonville can look forward to a lot of similar games this season. They are a quality side that plays out from the back and have done brilliantly so far in staying top of the league despite injuries to key players and a squad that isn't as big as those of the full-time teams. They will have to contend with a growing tendency of lesser teams like Glenavon ( and Ballymena and Warrenpoint recently ) to employ spoiling tactics such as the high press, eleven men behind the ball, frequent fouling and the sort of gamesmanship that is rife in the Irish League due to very poor refereeing. Expect to see more of this tonight in the home game against Portadown, which is followed by a series of difficult away games against other top sides.

4-0 win tonight. Gormley hat-trick and Curran penalty, though one of Joe's will probably be ruled own-goal. Couldn't be there as working, but looking forward to seeing the Reds hopefully giving the old home town a good tanking on Saturday.

Was a terrible game Picked up with the equaliser in the 85th minute though haha That Curran winner was unreal, we stood in line with the shot and it was poetry seeing it arrow into that top corner Nice win against Portadown too the other night, gets the GD up Heading again on Saturday

Away to Linfield next Saturday , win that and they are very much in the title hunt for definite! Blues lost yesterday and can't afford anymore dropped points.
Bit hairy yesterday, bottom side Warrenpoint clawed back to 2-2 at HT before a late flourish from the Reds made it a 4-2 win |
