Great to see Chris McCann back in the Burnley and scoring a goal on his first game back. I believe that Chris has a great future ahead of him, a good season next year and hopefully a move to the Premier league.

Fair play to Chris , only had 4 games back in the reserves and stepped up in style yesterday .
Hope he can push on and get the Clarets back to the Prem
Lansdowne Road debut aged 52 and 201 days .

He could have been sent off there for a high tackle, great to see him back in action though.

Bolton would be a good move for him.Coyle iknows what he is getting and they play good football. If the last 2 seasons hadnt been written of because of injury im sure McCann would be a premiership player already and a fixture in the irish squads.

If he joins Bolton my only concern is that he gets enough game time in the Premier League. I also see that Bolton are favourites to sign Darren Pratley from Swansea

Bolton would be a decent move imo. The poor lad just seems to be injury prone. Might put some clubs off.

Ya bt I meant as a midfielder he wont be able to impress him enough there to over take the lads in premiership. Paul green is an ilogical exception..
Obviously I hope he does get noticed

He  had a problem with his knee. First op didn't seem to work but second one looks like its been successful as he has played the last 4 games of the season. The other problem he had was a medical problem, a growth which was successfully removed from his head. The lad is now fully fit and rarin to go. Still only about 22/23 and IMO very likely to play in the Premiership in the near future.

If it comes down to getting a Championship club or a team playing in the top flight in a decent size level in mainland Europe he should chance his luck , the exposure a player esp from the likes of Ireland would get when playing abroad is defo a good thing....We have so many players playing in England , in Traps eyes he would see no difference between playing for a team like Barnsley or a team like Notts Forest!!

This lad has been so unfortunate over the past 2 years with injuries and illness. He deserves a break and a move to Bolton under Coyle could be exactly what he needs. As you said DB, he's still young and the lad has plenty of ability to turn out to be a very decent player for us. Please god he stays injury free this year.
