quinn was the best for me but shop around and ring aaran brokers they arent bad recently got new insurance and quinn was the chepeast followed by this aaran place and then no nonsense.ie
i would be expecting to pay near €3000 though, I was 22 when i first started and my first insurance was €5000 but that was 6 years ago and insurance prices have come down since then |

get your own car with your own policy so then you can drive it when you want, bit ambitious to have a full licence by the end of the year sure it takes ages to get your test think i was waiting about 9 months so if you get a car drive it for bout three months then apply for the test

axa & quinn are the cheapest for jungfellas , and unfortunately your license only makes a small difference at this stage , all bout age and no claims bonus , full lic is only about 10-20% discount.

It depends on the test centre now. Im having lessons in Galway and its about an 8 week wait for a test which Im putting in for shortly. You should be able to check out the rough waiting time on the RSA website I think. Edited by Babysis - 27 May 2010 at 3:39am |

I have to agree Sligo hornet, I have seen a good few shocking drivers and many have been women. But given I won't get a car till I have my licence and I have only ever had lessons with fully qualified instructors, both of whom I would strongly recommend (one is in Kildare and one is on Galway) I think I will be ok Edited by Babysis - 27 May 2010 at 4:19am |

drive trail for a year is best option but don't you think that why one should make a trail for an year, car hire insurance can be the best option if someone is in need, they should go for the same.
