Hi All, details below of a very good cause plus you could win tickets to the Ireland v Georgia match.

St. Michaels House "Bring a Book, Buy a Book" campaign to support intellectual disability - March 4th – 11th 2009.

Bring your second hand books and buy one of your colleagues' books for a donation of €2 per book. "Bring a book, buy a book" can be set up in any common area within an office/classroom/club or society. The books can be placed on a table and manned by a staff member or presented by trust. Your book event can be just for one day, a number of days or for the entire week.

St. Michael's House supply posters, stickers, bookmarks and donation boxes to make your book day a success.

Everybody who registers their group between now and Tuesday will be entered into a draw for 2 tickets to see Ireland v Georgia in Croke Park.

To register just send a PM with contact info and all details will follow.

What a great idea! Hope it does well as it is a good cause. Pity I am not there as I love books.

We'd have needed books with loadsa pictures to satisfy the intellectual capacities of too many of this site's users.....uphill struggle it woulda been.  Good luck and well done to this worthy cause though!
