Bit of a strange one but this seasons champions league starts tonight before last seasons champions league is finished.
Tre Fiori take on Linfield and Drita take on Inter Club d'Escaldes in the preliminary qualifying round.

Dundalk drawn to play Slovenian side Celje, I'd imagine the tie will be played in either Hungary or Italy.

Linfield given a bye after 2 players from their opponents tested positive for Covid forcing the squad into isolation. Linfield now away to Legia Warsaw next week

As of 2019–20, the fixed amount of prize money paid to the clubs is as follows: Preliminary qualifying round: €230,000. First qualifying round: €280,000. Second qualifying round: €380,000.

How does that meet UEFA criteria for a champions league match?
