If they're talking about this summer then I'd doubt it. With the amount of  concerts and GAA matches on I wouldn't think it would be available.
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Glamour friendly

One money-making possibility to offset that would be to play Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid in a glamour friendly in Ireland next month.

Kaka and Co. are due to train in Dublin from July 13-22 and have been lined up to face Shamrock Rovers.

But a glamour fixture at 80,000-capacity Croke Park has not been ruled out.

Michael O’Neill, the former Hibs and Dundee United midfielder, is now Rovers manager.

He said last night, “It would be fantastic for my players to face Real Madrid but we will be in the middle of our League season.

“On top of that, our ground does not hold that many (3500 but could be extended to 10,000).

“Whether Real play ourselves or a big British club with an Irish connection — the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool or Celtic at Croke Park — I don’t know. We will have to wait and see.”

It is understood Celtic would certainly be keen to step in as substitutes and, with no games planned between the Brisbane Roar in Australia on July 12 and playing Cardiff City on July 22, they could easily play in Ireland on the weekend of July 18 and 19.
