How are you defining celebrity ?
Difficult these days.
A separate Celeb Death comp I'm in has a rule that the person has to have a relatively comprehensive Wiki page. And a mutual agreement of celebrity status between the group. |

That's very similar to the rule here. "If I haven't heard of him in my narrow Anglo-centric World then he's not a celebrity." same, same. Some posters lost their sh1t when I posted that the UN Ambassador from the Russian Federation "died with his boots on". But at least it was kept in the thread. My obit of the manager of the company that made the gourmet burgers and other sandwiches at Aviva Stadium was deleted. You'd think that regularly visitors to the Aviva Stadium would want to follow the corpse, at least confirm he didn't become part of the meat production process. In the film "Celebrity" directed by Woody Allen. He brings ideas and questions like, what is a celebrity, including victims of crime. |

When is a celebrity a celebrity ?
Either the name of a new show, or a Deise rant. Can't tell what I'd prefer.

Lynn is a bit like Burt Reynolds. Very reliable, but she's got a moustache.

Ah, Fenella Fielding. Carry on screaming is a classic.Always thought she should have had a better acting career than she had.
