Peter Stringfellow.
"Tell them to get out there and give it all they got and win just one for the Zipper. I don't know where I'll be then, Doc," he said, "but I won't smell too good, that's for sure."

I remember the furore when he opened his outlet on Parnell Street in 2006. I think the protests lasted longer than the lifetime of the venue itself.

More a well known business man than a celebrity, either way, he won't be missed.

Not really a celebrity but Jerry Maren the last of the Wizard of Oz Munchkins. He was 98 and had appeared in the film when he was 18.

He wasn't one of the ones who molested the then 17 year old Judy Garland during production. He blamed that on the German Munchkins.

Loved him. cool old f**ker and a great writer.

Very sad news. In theory had a great life writing and travelling but we all know to well that depression can render all of that completely empty.

RIP

One of the coolest and most genuine men in America. I loved his writing and shows. A rock and roll star without the music.
