his interview of Annie Murphy with plants in the audience was disgraceful but she showed his bias up in the end.

KHe had a wonderful way with words, there were few better at reeling off a poignant sentence or chipping in with a cutting remark. The first thing I will forever think of when hearing the name Barbara Cartland is his remark that her eyes resembled the carcass of ‘two small crows that had crashed against the White Cliffs of Dover’.LOL

Clive James' heyday was before my time but I've greatly enjoyed watching his old shows on YouTube and reading his essays and reviews. 

Here's a great example of his writing, a magnificent demolition of Dan Brown. Very funny and true.
