How did he play last night? Didn't see it.

Had he any chance for the goal?
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

I thought he should have done better for the goal.

He should have made himself bigger.

Think that's very harsh, thought it was a great finish from Barry

Agree, you can't blame the keeper for a finish like that.

Had absolutely no chance for the goal. Ridiculous to criticize him in that situation to be honest. It was a really good finish from Barry.

Of course he had a chance - keepers save these all the time. I'm not saying that he was responsible for the goal, I just think his body positioning should have been better, he should have make himself bigger.

Absolutely nothing he could havel done for the goal, it was a one on one with the defence nowhere to be seen for goodness sake. A single still shot is terrible evidence as well, completely misleading.

Alisson would have saved it - he saves these type of shots all the time.

of course alisson could have save it you are talking about the best goalkeeper in the world but even he would not have been expected to save it . from the picture it is clear kelleher is looking to prevent the ball going through his legs , in that position this makes sense because he is so far out and barry so central that no matter how big he makes himself there is still lots of space to aim at in both sides of the goal so there is no point also opening up a big space between your legs for the striker to slot the ball through as well . your chances of saving are very poor no matter what in that position so all you can really do is try to cover one base which is what he did

just in adding to this i think the defence must take the blame here for leaving a very poor position for kelleher i do not think klopp would focus on him

It was a one on one with the keeper, I think the expectation is that forwards should be scoring in one on one situations.

It was a tidy finish from Barry, think Kelleher did everything right to be honest.

I don't think he would have they way Barry finished it. Think it's a ridiculously harsh analysis.

How often are the Liverpool defence cut open like that if Alisson saves those type pf shots all the time? Got any examples?

He would have been doing well to save it, but agree he could have made himself bigger, that said, he could have then been nutzed by Barry, which he appeared to be trying to protect rather than making himself bigger.

I do yeah.

Watching it in real time and looking at the picture above - my initial thought was that he had to make himself bigger. I still stand by that.

It's not really a big deal though. They won the game comfortably in the end.

A lot.

Exact same thing happened against West Brom with Williams being caught out with a ball over the top and Allison makes the save. Not a great shot though. Allison always makes himself big - and usually makes the save with his forearms.
