SaId it after Italy game - not top level. You either have it or you don't.

Not saying he won't carve out a career but he won't be Ireland #1

Based on what exactly? Where were Randolph and Westwood at Kelleher's age? Randoloh had just been frozen out at Hereford and Westwood had just joined Carlisle in the Conference. Both of their careers turned out pretty ok...
We're decent enough..

very true...considering most keeper peak at 30-35 he has years to prove himself and improve.you can't right him off by just that one game.
hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard

Exactly big deflection.

Really though he could have done better. Terrible deflection, but hesitated on his crawl back and didnt make too much of an effort trying to claw it out

That's actually laughable ffs LOL Might have got it if he was 9ft tall
He's a good keeper who needs plenty of games so yeah a loan might not be a bad idea. Lads judging him off a few League Cup games behind makeshift defences is very harsh. He's 20 & the current league leaders and champions league holders have him as their 3rd choice keeper - he can't be that bad

Some people just deserve a slap

got sat down for the 5th

maybe be better behind a better defence

I’d avoid over analysing every goal he concedes. All of a sudden you start actively searching out positional errors etc.

He had a highly inexperienced team in front of him last night which naturally puts extra pressure on him, and he was facing a strong Villa team.

I actually wouldn't blame him for the 4 goals that I saw, maybe the 1st.    The team he was in was crap.  I still think he will be doing well to make it.  He has lots of time to improve though.  Needs to bulk up, and command more.

He is very much in the mould of  continental style keeper.  Hope he does well needless to say.

If keeper makes 10 world class saves and makes a mistake in the 94th min and  you lose 1 nil be will be is slated.
He needs a loan move down the divisions  to make his mistakes there and learn from them out of the public eye.

He is our U-21 Goalkeeper, so he can't be that bad. He plays for Liverpool every week, just not at senior level, and he trains with the senior team every day.

I don't think he was responsible for any of the goals, but if people think he was, they obviously have very high expectations of an Ireland goalkeeper.
It's not his fault Liverpool are out of the League Cup. It was shambolic scheduling that made it likely, ever since his save at Anfield put the team through in the last round.
