He's been an injection of confidence.  A real shot in the arm.  Should be given the number 19 shirt.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's the first time it happened.

I posted in the Qatar match thread that Robbie Keane did it in June 2013 against Georgia and the Faroes

I think our best goalscoring streak was Paddy Moore in the 30s. He got 6 goals in 3 games.

Robinson can equal or beat that record if he scores 1 or more against Portugal next month.

Cant see Paddy Moore scoring 6 in 3? Jimmy Dunne did score 5 in 3 in the 30s though. He had some record looking at it there.

Don Givens has 6 in 3 though. Another who scored a load in short period.

Had taken 1 penalty in his entire senior career before the Qatar game (against Havant & Waterlooville). McGrath is St. Mirren's designated penalty taker and has scored approximately a dozen for them.

If it was a competitive game, McGrath should be holding on to that ball after winning the penalty and demanding to take it.

Stat padding and personally trying to get a hat-trick (when you're on 1 goal) in a friendly is one thing but I'd be f**king raging if Robinson missed that in a competitive game that's still in the balance.

Didnt spot an injury, but he was pretty ineffective first half.

Got an assist already, playing through the centre and looks lively so far.

Hooked again on after a pretty ineffective 55 mins despite the early assist. 1 1 now!

This is what he does. Has one or two games where he looks like a world-beater, then he's anonymous for the next ten.
