Callum is not immune from criticism it appears. This is what happens when you dont take your shots.

Unfortunately for Callum consistency is the reason he's not plying his trade in the upper half of the premier League.
He appears to have plenty of talent but what's the point when you disappear for half a dozen or more matches. Consistency is the undoing of many a talented player. Nothing new there.

Seems West Brom made a mistake on twitter and Robinson doesn't start.

I think Robinson should be able to regain his place soon. Molumby has made some goods steps and put in some decent enough performances when given his chance. This gives the manager confidence to select him going forward. Oshea walking without crutches now but still a long way to go for him. Hopefully back in the new year. |

Even with the two goals I think Hugill would have been preferred today as can see West Brom going more direct than usual. Hopefully Robinson can continue his good form with us and score a goal or two over the internationals. Surprised Molumby isn't playing as think Fulham are going to overrun West Brom in midfield. Snodgrass is probably the more creative player going forward but can see West Brom bypassing midfield a lot and thought the livelier Molumby would have gotten the nod. Yeah was good to see O'Shea without the crutches and hopefully we get to see him back in time for March's games. Edited by J89 - 30 Oct 2021 at 12:29pm |

Was at the fulham game. Incredibly poor when he came on. Did nothing to warrant starting for WBA.

Hasn't scored for WBA since August. Not necessarily concerned with his club form once he picks up with us, which October suggests he could well do.

October suggests we have to cross our fingers and hope the inform Callum suddenly appears. And that's the way it will always be unfortunately.

Yeah hopefully its the difference in manager and coming in playing for us, that he feels more confident being backed by the manager and the lads. Especially on the back of last month. Players really feed off that. Like Hendrick and Doherty have barely been involved for their clubs this season yet have had very good games for us between the September and October fixtures. Its not beyond Callum to respond the same. |

He’s looking more and more creative and dangerous every time he plays.

He did well, I dunno about MOTM but he’s been so positive on the ball the last 3 games, it’s great to see

Hard not to like this fella, was great to see him celebrate with his Ma & Da after the match too. Its good that hes flexible being able to play anywhere across the front three and also in the hole, when Idah came on and went up front he created some great passages of play dropping deep and winning back the ball as well as playing out wide left and getting decent crosses into the box.

Never mom imo, shouldn't ever start as a 9, good playing off either flank, 7 max tonight, likeable character, but not a 90 minute player!

Agree with this. I'd play Idah or Keane potentially as a 9. Keane is a big strong player who can hold a ball up. He's also banging them in for Wigan even at League 1 goals are goals. Play Robinson in behind in a free role then.
