Yeah he's clearly got a bit about him. It's easy to write people off just because they aren't world class, it's less easy to give a balanced evaluation of a player who's good without being great.
We're decent enough..

He’s not up to much!
I’ve never seen anything in him to suggest he’s anything more than an average championship level player

Care to revisit those opinions lads? First finish on his weaker left foot was excellent. Second one on his right was decent too.

I’ve always like him. He hasn’t really had that much game time on the pitch for us. I do think when he is on we are more positive. Think he had one or two bad/not so great games and it seemed to put people off him.
I think at championship level, he stands out. I think he has potential to be a hit in the PL too if he is in the right team with right players. He’s not world class but he has a number of great qualities

I’m delighted he scored and I hope he’s builds on this but he honestly never greatly impressed me. I’d be happy to be proved totally wrong long term as we need someone obviously to score regularly. As an aside I’m not sure West Brom will win this, Hopefully they will

With Brady and O'Dowda injured, it's great that Robinson will be going into the Slovakia game with confidence, seeing as he will be likely to start. Connolly's in great form, too, and hopefully the (likely) presence of McGoldrick up front will give the team a better balance.

It was interesting and unusual to see him start up front (as the main striker in the centre). Maybe I haven't been following him closely enough recently but always thought he plays/starts on the wings.

Two good finishes. No doubt about that. I wouldn’t be getting too over excited yet. Maybe playing through the middle suits him. Let’s see what he does in the green. He has room for improvement there.

Only seen the 2nd half but Robinson was excellent and set up the goal for West Brom.

Taught he played well, was surprised he was taken off to be honest. O'Shea was good also.
