Was at the match last night, thought he did well. Missed a really good chance for them early on, but had a good game, bit more variety to his game than we see for Ireland - showed some nice touches, quick passing and couple of decent crosses. He did his usual direct running, which he seems to be improving at every time I see him.

Playing in a very good Bristol Team at the moment also it should be said. Bodes well for him at a young age.

He's finally got end product. I don't think he even registered an assist last season. Great to see and a real option for next week

Needs surgery on an ankle injury picked up last weekend, out for forseeable future. Pity, as he was putting in good performances and being picked every week at Bristol City.

Sure as long as he makes it back in time for the June home friendly V Oman.........

Picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.....

Has made a full recovery and looks set to play for Bristol this weekend.

Is going to be an extremely important player for us in the next few years.

Excuse me, but you wouldn't mind giving me that ball as close to my left earlobe as possible. I like it there best.

Apologies. Just re-read the tweet, he appeared for their under-23’s last night.

I’m not sure why he started the first leg against Denmark! He’s a left-winger who was played in holding midfield instead of Glenn Whelan.

Is that what they call Whelan's role?Wink

Whelan built in the mould of David Batty...sideways and backwards...never forwards.
But hey gave the country his best...cap doffed!!

Two massive differences there! One, Whelan doesn't seem a massive **** and two, I never saw a LOI player take the piss out of Whelan for ninety minutes.
