Crazy to see the Vilius Labutis signing was the one that sent Bray fans over the edge. Vilius has been brilliant for Cabinteely for the last 3 seasons and he’s still only 20.

Will be the first to admit that Cabo were absolutely terrible for most of last season after the first round of fixtures but even at that, a lot of the players that have signed/re-signed, whatever way you want to put it, have been positive signings and the lads that were poor last season are now gone. Would definitely have kept the likes of Barnett so not sure what happened there.

It was just the wave after wave of Cabo lads that annoyed people, no Bray players kept bar Thompson, who nobody would have been too sad to see the back of. Feeling is they've ripped the Bray out of Bray and it's Cabo now. No matter how good those lads were, they still finished 9th.

Barnett just wanted to follow Gary i think. Himself and Jones are massive losses, and we've not signed our other full backs either. Also, if you're a young lad, do you want to play for him, or for Devo? He was the wrong appointment when the league is going younger at manager.

Barnett is a local lad though, said he wanted to win the league for Bray for first time, his Grandad played for the club. He's a local postman.

Horrible sign him leaving.

Tis gas from the other clubs, shame to see we've been reduced to a laughing stock though.

What is going on with the club? As in what’s the end game or aim from the club here?

Goal is to get promoted and crack onto Europe, believe it or not. I think they've bitten off a lot more than they can chew, and werd very naive about the whole thing.

They're in it for the long term, but I can see them getting fed up and giving up in the not too distant future.

First Division LOI Twitter has never been as good.

In all seriousness, that's a mental, and potentially damaging, ambition from those in charge.

It's nonsense, prefer they said we aim to get up within two seasons, stay up for 3 and take it from there
