GROOM JAILED FOR NAKED STAG DO STUNT
%20drunk%20australian%20drinking%20beer%20lager%20booze

A drunken stag do stunt has landed the groom-to-be in jail and plans for a ?20,000 wedding in tatters.

Stephen Mallone plunged naked into a fountain in the Slovakian capital Bratislava after a day's drinking.

The 25-year-old was arrested for 'lewd, drunken behaviour', rushed through the courts and sentenced to two months behind bars.

And as his big day is planned for next week, frantic diplomatic efforts are taking place to get his released.

Stephen, a self-employed builder, arranged the party with 13 friends three weeks before the wedding to allow plenty of time to recover.

His bride-to-be Kerry Stokes, a former Carnival Queen, said: "I miss him so much and wish he was here by my side.

"He was just messing about by the sounds of things. We still don't know if the wedding's going ahead."

A friend on the stag party told the Mirror: "He was told he would be released next day once he had sobered up but that was 11 days ago and he's still there."

Kerry, who lives with Stephen in Tenbury Wells, Worcs, says the pair will still marry at some stage even if he is not released in time for the June 15 bash.

As well as spending £20,000 on the do, 250 guests from across Europe have been invited and a chocolate fountain for the reception ordered.

Kerry is hoping a Foreign Office appeal will get her loved one released in time.

In the meantime she still plans to go ahead with her hen do this weekend at Butlins.

Notice they were English messers, the Paddies might get away with a bit more.  If not, the Bratislava cops will be busy but the warning is well heeded.

Suppose the muppets better be careful if they start playing the "packie bonner" kick the ball over the town hall game like they did in Stuttgart

In fairness the Germans thought all that kicking balls around Schlossplatz was hilarious.  I recall an elderly German sitting at a table and as the ball was in his direction he got up off his seat and headed it away, he was about 70!  Got a huge cheer he did.  I reckon meself about 3,000 will travel.

Hows things lads, only new. I see a couple of you's reckon only 3000 will be heading to the two games; I know match tickets will be extremely scarce but I would have thought there would be at least 5000-6000 headin over considering the popularity of Bratislava and Prague. Booked my flights yesterday - we're flying out direct to Bratislava on the saturday morning at 6 - ripped off but f#ck it, it'll be worth it. Anyone booked any accommadation in either of the places yet?

Hoywa Honey Monster welcome aboard.  I hope we'll have more than 3,000 fans for both games, I just think the "real" fans, for want of better word will be there, the prawn sambo lads will want to go to Cardiff instead of slumming it on trains/buses between Bratislava and Prague.

There's plenty of accomodation Monster via the Net..........needahotel.com isn't bad.  It's bloody match tickets now is the main issue.

haven't booked accomodation yet myself, will do so this week.
as regards tickets, i've applied for more tickets than my group need and the contact usually comes uo trumps. fingers crossed
