Had the perfect opportunity after the Mayweather fight to show some humility but just got more and more obnoxious as the weeks went on.

Incredible athlete though.

I don't remember that, it is hardly surprising though. A truly vile individual.

He was caught on camera calling another fighter a faggot. John Kavanaghs brother is a "celebrity" and also a homosexual man so he had to issue an apology. Must have been incredibly awkward between them right after it happened.

Pardon my ignorance, who is John Kavanagh? The article is about a fighter called Filli. Has he done this a few times?

Kavanagh is McGregors coach and corner-man. I'm fairly certain over the years he's completely distanced himself from him outside of training and fighting, for obvious reasons.

To be fair, from reading Kavanagh's book, he doesn't have anything to do with his fighters when they aren't in training, not just McGregor. It does seem that their relationship has become more strained over the last couple of years though.

If Wilder and Joshua fight would that in some way unify all the different organizations into one?

No, it would mean the winner would hold all the 4 major titles at that weight. Chances are the probably wouldn't hold them for too long as the various organisations would want to enforce mandatory defences in rotation and some of those mandatories might not make financial sense for the champion so they could vacate.

Seems like a total headf**k, Why don't they just disband them all create a one organisation for all of them and have a massive tournament to determine the overall champion

And to make it even more complicated, Fury doesn't hold any belts, but is still the lineal HW champion.

The fight dubbed by the experts David vs Goliath (Canelo vs Rocky Fielding) on tonight.

It's not called that because of the size difference, it's called that because Rocky is the belt holder and is a massive 10/1 underdog to win it.

Froch and the rest of the Sky panel reckon it'll be the biggest upset in Boxing history if he pulls it off.

These two shouldnt even be in the same ring. Fielding will get blown out of there. Mismatch.

It's a total mismatch. This is just to get canelo a credible win (winning a title) in the first fight of his big deal with DAZN, they would never put him in there with a risk of losing the first fight. If I had 50k spare, if be sticking it on canelo to win to get back 3k.

Looking forward to Katie's fight too but that is just as one sided

One of the easiest fights Canelo will ever have. Complete gulf in class between the two fighters.

Why do they keep referring to the ‘minor’ version of the WBA....
I assume the WBA just has one title and another 2/3 boxing associations have the same?

Alvarez now holds a minor version of the WBA world super-middleweight title.
