I heard of this lad a while back.He did an interview with some podcast.

Nothing to laugh about,the lad is doing damage to himself for a pittance and I'd be surprised if he doesn't have serious health issues down then line.
He is basically a punching bag and if the rules were followed,this lad wouldnt have a license and there is plenty of similar lads over the years.

Brilliant book about the scene a few years back called Journeymen.Well worth checking out.

It's hard not to laugh but you can give him alot of respect.

I watched his interview this morning and his mentality is certainly unique - He doesn't fight to win, he fights so that he's not stopped and occurs the automatic 30 day medical suspension so he can fight the following week!

I mean it's working in a way, only being stopped in 1.6% of his 300 fights is some going.

115-113, 116-112, 117-112, all for Doheny, thats some achievement and in  Iwasa back yard too! I was reading about this this morning but didnt cop the fight was actually on this morning, unreal.

Absolutely brilliant stuff - The stream I had kept freezing but from what I saw he tried to be on the front foot most of the fight and had a real go. With Japan being like Germany, where you need to knock a champ out to get a draw, I thought he wouldn't get the decision. Delighted to be prove wrong. Went off the beaten track to forge a career for himself and boy has that worked out !!
