Benson's, if ever you had an eclectic mix. It's very popular for 'coming home party's'. You had to be very careful which mots you got chatting with in there. Then on the other side of Parnell St was La Mirage or lambarjaysus to use its colloquial name. Not forgetting Brain Tumours, Abraxxis, Apple Annies, Tin Pan Alley (The Harp), Bogies (Now Club M), Plurabelles (Now Gogartys) and Rainbows. Great times....And he could I forget Jaggers

Just read an article and it would appear that its not closed for good afterall. Was apparently bought in March by new owners who are working on it. The statement on their website is from the previous owners supposedly.

Thank f**k for that! Hopefully they don't mess around with the place too much, was perfect as it was

This pub is not closed but many other early houses are. I work across from this place and you'd often see a crowd at 7am queuing to get in. I think there's four left in Cork. Are there many in Dublin?

I had a horror rollover session in The Chancery last year. I've too many miles on the clock for that carry on. Suffered for days after. Great craic at the time of course.
