Great win on Friday and a cracker of a game from first minute to last. To be fair to Pats they had a real go with ten men as opposed to the way they folded out in Inchicore when we came back from 1-0 down to win 3-1 - they had no fight in them that night but if they approach their next five games like they did on Friday night they should do enough to get out of trouble.

Keith Long deserves huge credit for what he has done this season with the resources at his disposal. Some very promising young players coming through which is really encouraging to see.

There was a decent atmosphere in Dalyer on Friday in fairness. It's usually not a bad away day overall. Nice and close to town and some good boozers in the vicinity.

Nobody seems to know, was scheduled to be the last season. Mad that there could only be two games left in Dayler and no real fuss about it.

Warren O' Hara is a gem. Would be surprised if he doesn't play for Ireland in the next 5 years. Has it all for a centre half. Quick, tall, good in the air and can see a pass. Strength can be worked on

Great game in dalier tonight, full marks to our lads really put it up the cork f#ckers.again.best side we played this season was dundalk by a mile.how the f**k cork are champions elect is a mystery, they are veeeery ordinary.no plan b ,no tactical nous, dundalk lost it with their bad start really.50/50 in the first half tonight after cork dominated the first 15 mins, ludicrous dive by the idiot rovers sh*te sheppard failing to get a penalty was their best "effort".second half cork looked ok for 10 minutes and we dominated thereafter, stonewall penalty not given and three decent chances to s c ore spurned, happy enough though.nice little racist pig display from the inbred fools behind the goal, stars n bars boy.gobsh*tes.

Very articulated post there, made for a great read Clap

Also Cork GAA fans have been using the Confederate Flag for decades Confused

Is Oldbilly saying it shouldn’t have been a pen to Cork in the first half?

And have been roundly criticised for it in recent years. You think the lads waving it tonight weren't aware of the connotations? Give over.

It's pettiness of the highest order making a big deal of a small flag being waved.

Cork people have used this flag for years, with no racist intent involved so no big deal imo.

Some folk have little to worry about, it doesn't take much to "offend" these days.

Ooops, just watched the replay there, sheppard was definitely taken by shane, peno no doubt but in real time it looked a good sweep by the keeper.we shouldve had one too so theyre cancelled out i guess, fair enough.good job cork didnt lose that home game to dundalk though,it couldve been a real nailbiter.

City will be champions because of our fantastic start to the season, not Dundalk's stuttering start. People's opinions of City's season is becoming clouded by events over the last few weeks. I'm not happy with how everything is playing out, but to imply City will be the worst champions in a while is just poor. As for the penalty decision, I'm assuming you haven't seen a replay; it was as clear cut as a penalty can get. Sheppard clearly got the ball first and was going to take it around Supple, Supple clattered into Sheppard's legs. Have to agree with you regarding the second half, we were absolutely dire, but as for the "stonewall penalty", well if you're giving a penalty for that, then you have to give a penalty for Supple's challenge on Sheppard. As for the Confederate flag, all I can say is there are a number of City fans who are just as appalled by it as the Bohs fans are

EDIT: Just saw your post above regarding the penalty decision
