Wasn't a fan of Cardiff or Glasgow. Just gloomy spots in winter (and summer).

Got a few slaps in Chisinau 'because you're in our country now and this is what we do'.
So top of the list for me, and everyone is trying to rip you off.

Not saying Cardiff is much better but I wouldn't mind going back, only for convenience sake.

Didn't spend an awful lot of time in Gelsenkirchen, but from what I saw, it's a bit of a hole. Cardiff and Bratislava definitely up at the top of the list for me, I'd happily never set foot in Cardiff again especially

I'd a great time but there can be no contest here surely. Chisinau is an absolute sh*t hole of the highest order!

Don't get the hate for Cardiff. It's not amazing or anything but I thought it was grand.

Really enjoyed Chisinau but it's the most dirt poor city I've ever visited and is clearly a bit of a kip due to the lack of money. Found the people nice.

Bratislava is a nicer city but still a kip and the locals were far from welcoming. Bouncers were absolute kuntz.

I quite like Cardiff, there's no comparison to the other two. Biggest kip I've ever been to for football is in Wales though, went to Bohs v Rhyl and I've never seen anywhere like if. Bookies, pawn shops and mobility scooters everywhere. Temporary wooden shopfronts on those units that weren't boarded up. The sticky carpeted pubs were doing a roaring Sat afternoon trade though. Made Chisinau look like Marbs...

Was anybody here in Tirana in 1993? I remember reading a lot of books published by various Irish players at the time and they never seemed too fond of their time there.

Just really really hate Bratislava , after the first time there i said i would never go back and here i am heading back for a 3rd time .

Now fair play to Mrs Claret who has stook by her guns and refused to go back .

It's probably come on a bit since then. Hope we draw them in a qualifying group sometime.

It's a majority Muslim country but I'd imagine it's fairly westernized like Turkey/Azerbaijan. I'm only guessing mind.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.
