Used to always think it was Galway but I think Cork has come out of Covid so much better than Dublin and Galway have.  Limerick is improving but still no there and Kilkenny is good but a little small.  Cork for me.

any of them really, I like all of them. Live in Dublin so my choice if pushed would be Limerick, never been, except passing through or a quick visit.
Think I’ll book one now!.

Haven’t been to Limerick city since pre covid. Always found it a down beaten depressing enough spot. Granted, quick trips for work. Never stayed over.

Galway is great but I’ve been too often now. Kilkenny too small like said above. Need to do more of Cork.

Belfast IMO. Much cheap with nice hotels, restaurants and pubs. Good for a bit of shopping around in shops we don't have and a good bit to see and do too.

Was looking at heading to Galway for 2 nights lat year, hotels wanted close to €200 a night, went to Belfast instead and paid €50 in the Ibis.

Paid 90e for a night in Jury's - wife and 2 kids. Great value.

Some of the prices in some places is off the scale.

EIRE is a fookin rip off.  5.80 a pint of Guinness in the RiviEIRE last night and not in a tourist trap pub.
The price of hotel rooms is scandalous.  I've no sympathy for the hospitality industry.  Greedy fookers.

€5.80 is on the cheap side of things too, cant recall paying under €6 anywhere since pre pandemic. Was paying €6.60 a pint last night!

years ago plenty from the north would have headed down to Dublin for the weekend  - not anymore hotel prices are a joke  - we are down for the Greek and Dutch game utilising some free points a hotel chain otherwise they were looking 200 quid a night

Genuinely have no idea who is paying those prices - it cant all be yanks

TBf prices have risen elsewhere  - Liverpool has gotten a good bit more expensive lately  but Dublins starting point was already high

200 on match night is actually on the cheaper side too. Mad prices all around the country for accommodation
They finally did it man... They killed my f**kin' car...
